of a wide variety of skin problems, including redness and swelling.

side effects elsewhere in the body. To keep this problem to a minimum,
avoid using large amounts of SUPRICORT (Synalar N, Fluocinolone, Fluonid, Flurosyn, Synalar, Synalar-HP, Synemol) over large areas, and do not cover
it with airtight dressings such as plastic wrap or adhesive bandages
unless specifically told to by your doctor.

SUPRICORT (Synalar N, Fluocinolone, Fluonid, Flurosyn, Synalar, Synalar-HP, Synemol) is for use only on the skin. Be careful to keep it out of your

flush your eyes with a large amount of water.

than suggested by your doctor.
If you miss a dose...
Apply it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next
dose, skip the one you missed and go back to your regular schedule.

Store at room temperature. Avoid excessive heat.

Side effects cannot be anticipated. If any develop or change in intensity,
inform your doctor immediately. Only your doctor can determine if it

* Side effects may include:
Acne-like eruptions, burning, dryness, excessive hair growth, infection of
the skin, irritation, itching, lack of skin color, prickly heat, skin inflammation,
skin loss or softening, stretch marks

You should not be using SUPRICORT (Synalar N, Fluocinolone, Fluonid, Flurosyn, Synalar, Synalar-HP, Synemol) if you are allergic to any of its components.
Special warnings about SUPRICORT (Synalar N, Fluocinolone, Fluonid, Flurosyn, Synalar, Synalar-HP, Synemol)
Do not use SUPRICORT (Synalar N, Fluocinolone, Fluonid, Flurosyn, Synalar, Synalar-HP, Synemol) more often or for a longer time than your doctor
ordered. If enough of the drug is absorbed through the skin, it may
produce unusual side effects, including increased sugar in your blood
and urine and a group of symptoms called Cushing's syndrome, characterized
by a moon-shaped face, emotional disturbances, high blood pressure,
weight gain, and growth of body hair in women.
Some factors that may increase absorption include:
Using bandages over the area where SUPRICORT (Synalar N, Fluocinolone, Fluonid, Flurosyn, Synalar, Synalar-HP, Synemol) is applied;
Using SUPRICORT (Synalar N, Fluocinolone, Fluonid, Flurosyn, Synalar, Synalar-HP, Synemol) over a large area of skin or on broken skin;
or
Using SUPRICORT (Synalar N, Fluocinolone, Fluonid, Flurosyn, Synalar, Synalar-HP, Synemol) for an extended period of time.
Children may absorb a proportionally greater amount of steroid drugs
and may be more sensitive to the effects of these drugs. Avoid covering
a treated area with waterproof diapers or plastic pants. They can increase
absorption of SUPRICORT (Synalar N, Fluocinolone, Fluonid, Flurosyn, Synalar, Synalar-HP, Synemol).
Effects experienced by children may include:
Bulges on the head
Delayed weight gain
Headache
Slow growth
SUPRICORT (Synalar N, Fluocinolone, Fluonid, Flurosyn, Synalar, Synalar-HP, Synemol) should be discontinued if irritation develops, and another treatment
should be used.
Extended treatment time with any steroid product may cause skin to
waste away. This may also occur with short-term use on the face, armpits,
and skin creases.
Possible food and drug interactions when taking SUPRICORT (Synalar N, Fluocinolone, Fluonid, Flurosyn, Synalar, Synalar-HP, Synemol)
No interactions have been reported with SUPRICORT (Synalar N, Fluocinolone, Fluonid, Flurosyn, Synalar, Synalar-HP, Synemol).
Special information if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
Pregnant women should not use steroids on the skin in large amounts
or for long periods of time. During pregnancy, these medications should
be used only if the possible gains outweigh the possible risks to the
baby.
Steroids do appear in breast milk. Women who breastfeed an infant
should use them cautiously.

ADULTS Overdosage :
SUPRICORT (Synalar N, Fluocinolone, Fluonid, Flurosyn, Synalar, Synalar-HP, Synemol) can be absorbed in amounts large enough to have temporary effects
on the adrenal, hypothalamic, and pituitary glands.
* Some effects of steroid drugs may include:
Abnormal sugar levels in urine, excessive blood sugar levels, symptoms of Cushing's
syndrome
* Symptoms of Cushing's syndrome may include:
Easily bruised skin, increased blood pressure, mood swings, water retention,
weak muscles, weight gain
